-Transformation of Sewage Sludge into Clean Resources: CETIR Trials in Collaboration with Canal de Isabel We are pleased to report on the promising outcomes of a recent field trial conducted with Canal de Isabel in Madrid, focused on the sustainable transformation of sewage sludge through our patented CETIR process. -Trial Summary The material, delivered with a moisture content of approximately 80%, underwent the initial stages of the CETIR process, yielding encouraging technical results. • Eco-Hygienization / Hydrolysis: Our steam-based system achieved full elimination of pathogens and odors, producing a stable material ready for advanced treatment. • Drying Challenges and Improvements: Due to the cohesive structure of the sludge and its high water content, the drying process proved complex under the current setup. However, simple technical improvements have already been identified and will soon be implemented to significantly enhance efficiency.
